With winter coming up, I have felt the need to get my chimney cleaned. I haven't had it cleaned in years and I think that it should get done. I have contacted a chimney cleaner and they will be here tomorrow. It will be just in time to because I think that it is supposed to be bad weather next week. When the bad weather comes, we will have a fireplace to keep us warm.

Couldn't agree more that these are great times for checking on your chimney. You'd be surprised how many cap and flue repair issues can be found as people tend to ignore chimneys until it's too late.
